Coach plan terms
What you are buying
A monthly plan with a fixed number of client seats: Starter (12 seats), Coach (35 seats), or a Studio plan priced with you. A seat means one client linked to you gets Tova, the AI coach inside TOVA, included, with no subscription of their own, for as long as they are linked to you and your plan is active. Your own Tova access is included. All plans have the same dashboard and features; they differ only in seats.
Billing
- Billed monthly in advance, on the day you subscribed, by card through Stripe. The charge appears as TOVA COACH.
- No free trial. Cancel any time from Manage billing; your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. No partial-month refunds.
- Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current period.
- If a payment fails, we retry and email you. You have seven days to update your card; after that the plan is cancelled and seats end with the 14 day grace below.
- Prices can change for new plans. A change to the price of your existing plan comes with at least 30 days' notice by email. A founding rate, where one was offered, never changes for the account it was offered to.
Seats
- A client takes a seat when they join you with your coach code or share code and a seat is free. Nobody ever occupies two seats.
- When a seat ends, for any reason, the client keeps Tova for a 14 day grace period, once per client, then keeps the free TOVA tracker for as long as they like. They can subscribe on their own at any time.
- Fair use: 300 Tova messages per seat per calendar month. Past that, the seat has the tracker until the first of the next month. We will tell you if this ever changes.
- If you move to a plan with fewer seats than clients included, you choose who keeps a seat. If you do not choose before the change lands, the longest-linked clients keep theirs.
What you see, and what you never see
Each client chooses to share with you from inside their app and can stop at any time without telling you. You see their food diary, calories, macros, the nutrients they track, and weigh ins. You never see their conversations with Tova, what Tova knows about them, their profile, or their photos, and this is not a setting anyone can change. Your private notes are yours and are never shown to the client or read by Tova.
Your responsibilities
- You use the dashboard with clients who have agreed to share with you, for coaching them. You do not use it to monitor anyone who has not.
- TOVA is a general wellness product, not a medical device or medical advice, and Tova is not a clinician. You are responsible for your own coaching and for referring clients to a professional when something is outside your scope.
- You keep your sign-in to yourself. A plan belongs to one coach account; studios with several coaches are set up separately.
Our responsibilities
- Nothing that is free in TOVA today moves behind a subscription. Your clients' tracker stays free after any plan ends.
- We never tell your clients about your billing.
- We can end a plan for abuse of the fair-use rule or of a client's consent, with a refund of the unused part of the month.
