Delete your TOVA account

TOVA, by Agentic Verification Architecture

You can delete your TOVA account and everything in it at any time, on iPhone or Android. There are two ways.

In the app (instant)

Open TOVA and go to the You tab.
Tap Account.
Tap Delete my account, then Yes, delete everything.

Your account and its data are deleted right away, from your phone and from our servers.

By email (if you can't open the app)

Email help@tova.coach from the email address you use to sign in to TOVA, with the subject "Delete my account". We match the request to that address, delete the account and its data within 7 days, and write back to confirm.

What is deleted

Your account: email address and password.
Everything you logged: foods, water, weight, exercise, goals and your plan, custom foods, recipes and preferences.
Your conversations with Tova and the notes she keeps about you.
Setup details from the quiz, any coach sharing links, and the product event counts tied to your account.

Nothing is kept in a backup or archive. Deletion cannot be undone.

What is not deleted

Food facts you helped add (a product's name and nutrition numbers, or a search term our sources didn't have). These are about foods, not you: they carry no account id and no link to your diary.
Purchase records. Apple or Google keeps its own record of a subscription purchase under its own policies. Our subscription service, RevenueCat, keeps the purchase receipt under an anonymous id; email us and we'll delete that too.
Feedback you emailed or sent from the app stays in our support inbox until you ask us to delete it.
Apple Health or Health Connect. Entries TOVA wrote there belong to you and stay in that app. You can remove them in Apple Health or Health Connect.

Subscribed? Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription, because the store bills it. Cancel first: on Android in Google Play, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions; on iPhone in Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions.

Deleting some data, keeping the account

You don't have to delete everything. In the app you can delete any diary entry, weigh in, custom food or recipe, and edit or remove what Tova knows about you (You tab, then "What Tova knows about you"). If you sign out, the tracker keeps working and your log stays on your phone, with no backup to our servers.
